how the Soviet Union and India become best friends
In the end
of December of 1971 another war between India and Pakistan broke out due to
West Pakistan’s toture and murders of Bengali’s in East Pakistan because of
defeat in elections and Leader of Awami League leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman who
won the elections by simple majority presented the Six Points to the President
of Pakistan and claimed the right to form the government. After the leader of
the Pakistan People Party, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, refused to yield the
premiership of Pakistan to Mujibur, President Yahya Khan called the military,
dominated by West Pakistanis, to suppress dissent in East Pakistan. Military
start harassing the people of East Pakistan and to avoid those tortures and
murders people of there start taking shelters in India in refugee camps
established by India tan West Pakistan insist India to deny the permission to
Bengalis of east Pakistan to enter India by doing raid on Indian cities and
airstrips than Indira Gandhi ordered Indian Armed Forces to reflect the
aggression. Indian Armed Forces retaliate with in the way which is not expected
to anyone before that Indian prime minister tried so hard to avoid the war by
gaining American sympathy to Bengalis of
east Pakistan but she failed to do so, than on 9th of August. Indian
had take that step which will prove as the saga of two best friend who
supported each other’s in their hard times. On 9th of august India
signed a treaty of peace , friendship and co-operation with soviet union.
After the
treaty soviet government has directed a group of ships under the command of
contr-admiral V kruglyakov. Soviets dropped their anchor in Bay of Bengal, there
is a lot of soviet intelligence has reported that British Battleship are
sailing nearer to territorial India water. Its actually a Carrier Battle Group
with some additional ships led by an aircraft carrier “Eagle” while Admiral
V.Kruglyakovits watcher for the British
fleet and observed that he don’t have enough force to resist if they
encountered the British Carrier. Therefore to support the existing fleet of
soviet union in Bay of Bengal soviet government sent soviet cruisers,
destroyers and nuclear submarine equipped with Anti-Ship Missiles from
Vladivostok. After the support of these powerful vessels soviets looks damn
strong as a result Britishers takes U-turn cause soviets can take out the shit
of their butts by that much power but soviet union didn’t leave Indian water cause
again soviet intelligence informed that 7th fleet of United States
Navy was dispatched to put pressure on Indian side, American carrier USS
Enterprise and USS Tripoli advancement towards Indian water soviets observed
their movement pattern and than encircled them
and stepped a daring move to aim their missiles towards USS Enterprise
but the height of courage and flavor of true friendship was seen when soviet commander
ordered soviet ship to go as near to the enemy as possible cause soviets ships
have missiles with the range of only 300kms only and when Americans didn’t stop
moving towards soviets, the chief commander of Soviet fleet ordered Admiral
Kruglyakov to lift the submarine and bring it to surface so that it can be it
can be seen by American Spy Satellite and American Navy to show them that the
soviets have all thing required both guts and equipments, Soviets submarine
lifted and can be seen on the submarine as a result American spy satellite seen
it as expected than soviets intercepted the American communication (I don’t
know how they done it cause its really hard to do so) The commander of CBG was
then the counter- admiral Dimon Gordon. He sent a report to the commander of of
7th fleet of United State Navy that “Sir, we are too late. There are
Russian nuclear Submarines here and a big collection of battleships. As a
result Americans returned and couldn’t do anything for there ally Pakistan
cause India got Big boys of that time.
But the
question is China is Strong ally of Pakistan, Why china didn’t help its ally
the reason behind it was also Soviet union. Soviet Union had also threatened
china that if they ever opened a front against India on its border they will
receive a tough response from north.
After the
war and till now Indians thank Soviets who is now Russians to help them in
their hard time and the whole world started knowing them as an example of true
friendship.
